I couldn’t deploy them into battle at all and dismissed them. However, they became permanently lightly wounded. After having one of my soldiers captured in WOTC, I rescued them in a mission. You can tell this happening because the game shows you should have a shot with the squadsight marker but you don’t.
Sometimes squadsight simply doesn’t trigger. Squadsight bug: Strangely enough, my first campaign (vanilla) had no problems with squadsight, but my 2 WOTC campaigns have. General lagginess/ Framerate slowdown that gets worse as the campaign progresses.
I’ve also heard of crashing on Xbox/PS4, but in my 100 hours of playing it it’s never crashed. From what I’ve heard, all the general problems with the Switch version occur on the other consoles too. Unless you have a PC, this is without a doubt the best console to play on. Got it on Switch about a month ago, been playing it since.
